My daughter and I own the copyrights to a basketball app, This app is all inclusive, everyone on a team contributes equally, regardless of talent and/or experience. Categories can be novice, house leagues, recreational, or even professional. It is easy to learn, low cost and a lot of fun, while increasing skills. It can be tailored to young girls who don’t make a rep team or don’t have regular access to practices and/or shoot arounds. It can be played from ages 10 - 12 right up to 60 - 70. I played untilI was about 55 years old. I read a study that stated that women drop out of active sports about the 24 - 26 age range. This can change that stat. I will be 81 years old in a couple of months, so my pension isn’t enough to complete the project. My daughter works full time while raising 2 sons as a single parent. The last step could be creating an instructional video, then sending it to prospective companies. Gym rental, player’s honrarium, business account could run up to $2,000 - $2,500. Government grants, subsidies, etc., start around $250,000, so that’s out. I am looking for small grants or loans.
