Has anybody used the services of Inventhelp.com to help with promoting your idea?
They seem to be offering a lot of services, but would like to hear from the customers, if any.
Hi. My name is Joe Schaufele. I partnered with Invent Help back in 2017-2019. My experience with them was mixed. The positive is that they were able to connect me to a Patent Attorney which helped me obtain a Utility Patent throught the USPTO. They also did put together a portfolio to showcase my invention which was pretty decent considering the technology available back then. Compared to today’s standards in tech, I could have done better myself using AI. In my experience they just promote your product within their own inner circles. I felt it was more like a “Dog and Pony Show” without actually producing any genuine results. Of course they try to upsell you into more services. I walked away from Invent Help after I realized that they do not prioritize their customers. In my opinion, you would be better off avoiding Invent Help and seeking out a different company to persue your invention. After not receiving the service or desired results from Invent Help, I felt frustrated and defeated. I sat on my invention for a few years due to this and the timing of the pandemic. After the dust settled over the pandemic, I decided to pursue my invention again at the end of 2023. I am currently partnered with MIchael & Hope along with their sister company Go Vertical ICM. I found them on LinkedIn while I was reaching out to several different companies to get pricing for making a prototype for my invention. The best way I can explain why I partnered with them is that as soon as I communicated with them, I had a gut feeling that this was my answer to move forward. I do not have any experience with creating a prototype or starting a business of this caliber. Go Vertical ICM led the process and organized a strategic plan to not only create a prototype but more importantly set forth a plan of intent that educated me on the processes to follow with a feasibility study to see if this invention was a project worth pursuing before I waste any more money. I do not have extra money to continue to invest in a dream, and Go Vertical ICM set up a financial payment plan to help me move forward one step at a time, which allowed me to progress forward. Today, the prototype is almost completed and I have set up a company called Hitch Hikers LLC. My journey has taken some time, but I have learned so much throughout this. I feel very confident that Go Vertical ICM has my best interest at heart without breaking me financially. They are truly people who understand the inventors mindset and desires to succeed.
So in short, even though I would not recommend Invent Help to anyone, I would not be where I am today without learning from my experience with Invent Help. They did try to fulfill their part of the agreement, but it just wasn’t what I was actually looking for. Moral of my story is Live & Learn. I still have a lot of challenges ahead of me today, but I know I am moving in the right direction with a solid plan for future success. Follow you dreams and passion, but more importantly follow your gut feelings. When you find the right person/company to help you, you will know.
